Shampoo or Dry Shampoo
If it’s wash day make sure you’re shampoo is going to pair with the style you need – if you need big hair for an event opt for a volumizing shampoo not a heavy moisture one etc.
If it is just maintenance day – do a quick blow dry before you spritz your dry shampoo 😉 this will move the oils down from the scalp to the ends for an easy touch up and go.

Tip 2: Styling Products
Make sure the products you are using are for the style you desire, you wont get a bouncy voluminous style with a moisture spray. Styling products build the foundation for the style to even happen in the first place.
Make sure you have different products to apply on wet hair before you blow dry and on dry hair before/after hot tools.
(skip this step or use a product activator spray to reactivate the products already in your hair)
Tip 3: Blow Dry
Now that you have your products in we need to activate and set them with heat. This is going to give your style longevity so you can do touch ups until you wash again. Always be sure to use an ion blow dryer they are gentle on your hair resulting in less heat damage.

Tip 4: Hot Tool
The most common problems when it comes to this stage of styling is not using proper products or sometimes even any at all and using the tools on the highest heat setting. Hot tools to styling is like the cherry on top of a sundae. Always add defined shape, texture, control and shine to finish off the look.
Touch up any spots needed if this is a maintenance day.
Add a funky braid/bun and curl around the face, accessorize with a hat and viola!
